Randy Evans
President / Business Development North and South America
Randy Evans was promoted to President of Comosoft, Inc. in September 2009. Randy is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales, marketing and company strategy throughout North and South America. Prior to joining the Company in 2002, he held various project management and production positions at the JCPenney Company, including co-managing the evaluation, selection and implementation of the Lago system in 2001. Randy’s in-depth, client- and vendor-side publishing experience lends itself to effectively guiding prospective customers through the sales process.
Randy holds a degree in Advertising and Business Administration.
Manfred Ossenbeck
Managing Director
As founder and principal architect of the Lago Production System, Manfred Ossenbeck manages all strategic product development and engineering for Comosoft. As a hands-on manager and product visionary, Manfred plays a central role in both new and on-going customer initiatives. Manfred is considered a leader in the retail and publishing industry in Europe, is often quoted in the trade press, and has been providing innovative software solutions to the retail publishing industry for more than 20 years. Manfred is a passionate cyclist and a frequent visitor to a beautiful lake region in northern Italy called Lago di Como.
Sven Jacken
Executive Director
Sven Jacken is responsible for all European consulting, support services and product management. Sven was initially hired as a systems specialist just out of Technical school in Hamburg, and has been with Comosoft since 1998. Having closely managed many of Comosoft's installations throughout Europe, with many of the largest retailers and catalogers, Sven oversees the support, project management and training teams, and plays a central role in translating key market requirements to the engineering team.
Sven has a diploma in Information Technology and Commerce from the Chamber of Commerce in Hamburg, Germany.
Jens Silligmüller
Executive Director
Jens Silligmüller responsibilites revolve around corporate development, marketing and cooperation. After studying business he gathered experience at an international business consultancy firm. His first encounter with comosoft was as Managing Director for corporate development at the Evers-Frank Print and Media Group.
Alan Kalish
Project Manager, Client Relations
Alan Kalish is responsible for project management and client relations in North and South America. Alan was originally hired by Comosoft in 2001 as a QuarkXPress trainer and soon after, began training the Lago system for a variety of Comosoft's clients. Over the course of Alan's tenure with Comosoft, he has held positions as trainer, support and implementation specialist and project manager.
Alan came to Comosoft after spending 12 years in advertising, where his focus was graphic design and production. It was during this time Alan honed his skills relating to workflow management. Alan's creative advertising experience combined with his technical knowledge of Lago, allows him to quickly relate to all user roles in the production process.
Alan received his BFA in Advertising Graphics from Trenton State College, NJ.
Julio Vasquez
Support Manager, North and South America
Julio's responsibilities are to cover all support activities for North and South American customers. Julio was originally hired by Comosoft in June 2006, to be an application supporter. Soon after, Julio began training and implementing Lago for a variety of Comosoft's clients. Over the course of Julio's tenure with Comosoft, he has performed the functions of a trainer, application supporter and implementation specialist.
Julio came to Comosoft after spending 9 years at a premier sales and marketing company for the grocery, foodservice, drug and convenience store business. Working with retailers, distributors, wholesalers and manufacturers, his focus was graphic production design and technical support for a creative department. It was during this time Julio honed his special skill set relating to graphic design, workflow management as well as technical support. Julio's creative experience combined with his technical knowledge, allowed him to quickly adapt to the Lago process.
Robert "Scott" Hodgson
LAGO Product Manager, North and South America
His core responsibilities since 2002 are facilitating technical sales presentations, workflow and process improvement consultant and key technical liaison between customers requesting new feature developments and our software development engineers in Hamburg Germany. Scott helps customers envision a more efficient way to streamline the workflow.
Prior to joining Comosoft, Scott spent six years with a software company specializing in database publishing technologies. This included completing an extensive training program at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California. He has a degree in Business Administration from Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.
Scott holds the distinguished title of Comosoft’s first North American employee. He resides just outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada and is an avid snowmobile enthusiast.
