Klingel decides on LAGO – Expects amortization in less than three years
Converting its catalog production in Comosoft’s LAGO solution, the catalog retailer, Klingel, has sent a signal: its own catalog groups (including the specialty catalogers Wenz, Mona, Beyeler, Meyer, Diemer, Wellsana and Amara) will be using a single production platform for the production of all catalogs (volume of about 30,000 pages per year).

Critical to the introduction of the new solution was that, in the past, the print products were created in many different and largely conventional (non-database-driven) ways. This mode not only created tremendous errors resulting in an enormous correction effort, but also led to employee inefficiency in the production process.

“The clear and uniform production process with which LAGO is being used allows graphic designers to get involved in all areas of the group, whenever and wherever they are needed,” emphasizes Achim Teichmann, account manager at Comosoft, with respect to the newly created flexibility in favor of the customers. Moreover, time-consuming and costly corrective procedures will be significantly reduced.
For Klingel, LAGO’s standard language management capabilities were critical in their decision to choose the solution. After all, Klingel serves five markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands and Belgium) using three different languages.
Klingel expects to achieve an ROI in less than three years.
