    250,000 articles, 160 attributes per article, two variants, 80,000,000 attributes in total – for e-shops, over 300 mailings a year, numerous other print projects and customer service. That is Emporium Merkator.     Within its own mail order group (including the special mail order companies Wenz, Mona, Beyeler, Meyer, Diemer, Wellsana and Amara) there is now only one uniform production platform for the production of all catalogues (volume approx. 30,000 pages per year).     Hamburg, 01.06.2015 – 24 hours, 60 participants, 16 teams and a lot of good concepts. “Small – Sharp – Smart” was the motto of the second ShipIt Day at ppi Media on 7 and 8 May. In concrete terms, this meant implementing their own project ideas – within just 24 hours with a final presentation in a 4-minute pitch. The result is, among other things, the successful linking of the editorial systems for the production of magazines (ppi Media) and the PIM & multichannel publishing systems for the production of catalogues (Comosoft GmbH) to create the “Magalog”.
