A Product Information Management or PIM system is a software solution for businesses with complexities and challenges in managing marketing data for their products such as: Stock Keeping Unit (SKU), identifiers, titles, descriptions, images, pricing, quantities, and much, much more. The goal of a PIM system is the central media-neutral storage and enrichment, as well as management and distribution of product information to various output channels. This product information includes prices, article numbers and multilingual product texts, but also information for logistics and product photos.
